Some information:
Flow: I experienced a fair share of flow issues with this ink. In my Kakuno EF and Sheaffer No Nonsense (probably) 1.1 stub, the hard start almost had me fling my pens into the wall (granted, I'm not a patient person). Especially if left untouched for over a day, it's next to impossible to start them again. Flow was average on all other nibs though.
Cleaning: Pigment was medium difficulty. Glitter was quite difficult.
Notes on glitter: by the end of the ink levels, Lamy F and B still had tons of glitter left, 1.1 had less than starting but still a fair bit. Otherwise other pens basically had brown ink.

Interesting...I've had no luck with Diamine shimmer inks.
The only one I tried was Golden Ivy.
I'm sticking to J.Herbin shimmer inks from here on out.
Emerald of Chivor and the anniversary shimmering green ink when it comes out next month.

It's interesting that you say you've had no luck with Diamine shimmer inks after having only tried one, but that you are sticking to J.Herbin shimmer inks from here on out after having only tried one. There are many factors that affect the use of shimmer inks of all brands with all pens and papers.
I have J.Herbin Emerald of Chivor and regularly use it in a Waterman Hemisphere. It always completely dries up inside the converter and if I don't use the pen for a couple of days it won't start, even after I dip it in water. I also made the mistake of filling a Sheaffer Targa with Rouge Hematite V1 (no shimmer - just shiny sludge in the bottom of the bottle) and it completely blocked that pen up so that it took many washes and flushes before it would work properly again with any ink and it continued to tint clean water pink very regularly.
I regularly use my shimmer inks in wet flowing pens from which I can easily remove nibs and feeds to clean them carefully or I use my Lamy Safaris that never seem to have a problem with any of them..
