One of my trouble makers, Sully. Lamy Vista with an EF nib filled with Noodler’s Black. I have a lot of fountain pens and a decent amount of ink, but this combo is the most successful in my opinion. I’ve been beating this Vista up for years and it’s still incredibly fun to use.

You are very talented.
I love your thread, it is very useful to understand things such as perspective, and values, among others.
Keep on :applause:

I always mean to post here more often, and I have no reason not to. So as a resolution I’ll be posting here way more.

These are very nice...I sometimes carry a little brush pen with a dilute ink solution. It works well for laying out a drawing.

Wow, very inspiring! Lots to learn from your work, thanks for sharing!
Re: Sketches I make when I travel or walk around
I had a nice brush pen (pentel??) but I realized that the brush tip wouldn't hold its shape for too long. I started to carry markers instead, which isn't the same but it was fun to try out.

Re: Sketches I make when I travel or walk around
Do you start right in in ink, or do you sketch out anything lightly in pencil first?
Re: Sketches I make when I travel or walk around
Unless it's a commission, I always just go in with ink from the start. I really enjoy trying to figure the drawing out and thinking of the lines as part of the construction. Plus, that allows your style to shine through and makes the work more interesting, in my humble opinion.
