Links to some good sample packs
Looking for more inks for my Sheaffer Prelude with a 1mm cursive italic nib. I have browsed a few different sample packages online but they all seem to be lacking much variety (too many variations of the same color per pack). I would like some links to variety samplers that some of you found helpful! If possible, please only recommend samplers that are only well known brand inks such as Diamine, Waterman ect. Thank you!
Re: Links to some good sample packs
Update: I found a site that actually lets you create your own sample sets in a way that makes sense. Instead of digging through hundreds of samples I applied filters for brands I wanted and made sure I wasnt viewing any inks with shimmer.
I ordered the following
-Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-budo
-Diamine Dark Forest
-Pelikan Edelstein Jade
-Rohrer & Klingner Helianthus
-Diamine Pumpkin
-Diamine Bilberry
-Pelikan Turquoise
-Rohrer & Klingner Alt-Goldgrun
-Diamine Ancient Copper
Re: Links to some good sample packs
What a happy situation, needing ink! (Most of us have already gone down the rabbit hole and have more then we will ever use...) Of course you could order sample bottles frim any major pen supplier (Goulet, Pen Chalet, etc) but I presume that's not what you mean. If you want actual sampler bottles then Diamine has a huge range and all available in smaller bottle size. Recently I also found appealing the Ferris Wheel Press set of three "charger" bottles (ordered, not yet arrived). The other set I purchased recently was Private Reserve who do a set of four in seasonal colors. I got autumn (a beautiful set of 4 complementary colors), but a search just now shows Spring: https://www.penloversparadise.com/pr...g-sample-pack/
Re: Links to some good sample packs
The ones I ordered are the regular small sample sizes. My total shipped was $20 for those goodies. Currently my only inks are Parker Quink Black, Mont Blanc Irish Green and Diamine Oxblood. I have to admit, I started off hating ordering ink until I discovered the samples. It was stressful having to commit to something that you dont know if youll like

Very cool! Which site, if you don't mind?
Re: Links to some good sample packs
I usually just search for ink samples and then filter by color and other properties from Goulet pens.
Lately I add a "surprise me" sample every time I order, just for fun. They also have a surprise me pack.

Sailor Kenshin I used Goulet pens. They let you make your own sample packs. My only complaint so far is the shipping is awful my ink is days late and still not here.

It did safely arrive. Been slowly trying different inks when I have the time to do so. Waiting to try all of them before coming back with feedback.
