éclat de saphir
Bonjour tout le monde,
For last week's trip to Paris, I swapped the converter for cartridges filled with J. Herbin's Éclat de Saphir ink.
First couple of days it didn't flow too well in the Montblanc 145 Chopin, and I'm back to the converter.
Here are some of the photos from the trip

Merci, bonne journée, Joyeux Noël et Bonne Année

Re: éclat de saphir
Beautiful shots, especially the Eglisle St. Paul under difficult lighting conditions. LOVE LOVE the grain with Delta 3200, something you don't see with digital these days. Leica M?

Re: éclat de saphir
Oui, my recently refurbished Leica M7 with its bright MP finder is loaded with Delta 3200.
The Eglise St Paul was not something I planned for - while walking with my friend the Parisian fashion photographer, I heard what sounded like a choir and headed into the church with my black paint M6TTL and Tri-X. After making an offering, I made a few photos. Glad I had the M6TTL's finder mask upgraded to the MP mask a couple of years ago.

Film rules.
Ink flow in the 145 was stopping again after about three lines earlier in the year, so I sent it to Montblanc USA service. They diagnosed a corroded forepart and replaced it at no charge.
