Lunchtime ink review: Diamine Aurora Borealis
Lunchtime ink reviews! I'm taking inks to work and doing one of these during my lunch.
Diamine Aurora Borealis, dip test with TWSBI Eco 1.1mm stub, on Rhodia dotpad.

A darker greenish teal. There are a couple of little areas of red sheen here - they don't show much.

I also had a go with Muji's word cards to see how they do for ink swatches. They don't compete with the specialist versions - the paper is absorbent and there is feathering. But they're a convenient small size and only 95p. I'm going to use one to show colour (you won't get sheen). There's a little bit of glass dip pen on here as well as the Eco.

I always like your lunchtime reviews and even though not a fan of teal inks per se, this looks worth investigating.

I got this ink, partially for the name. I'm trying to decide if it reminds me of auroras seen on TV I've never seen one in person because I live too far south.

What a nice ink review! I love the quick drawing which brings the nice teal (petrol) to life!
Best wishes for many more good lunchtimes for you!
