Ok, so no real winner this time. Let me wait three days, or so, to let others chime in.
If one of you likes to present an ink here in this great thread - feel free to do so.
The first ink will be the next.

I had a sachet of Red Cashmere powder that I made up into ink that is currently sitting in a J.Herbin bottle. It seems OK and hasn't changed since it was made up to fit into the Herbin sized bottle according to instructions on the packet.
Do you know what didn't work out with it?
OK, seeing as I am unlikely to actually guess one, I'll jump in :)

diamine chocolate brown? oh btw, lovely handwriting....:) pleasure to read and re-read....
I don't see any shading....does it shade?
I've only played with one ink having a ridiculous dry time like this, and it was also a chocolate brown. Your writing sample mentions nothing of scent and lacks any sparkly gold flake, so I'm going to assume it isn't Montblanc's Season's Greetings ink from 2005/6.
@Yazeh: thank you. The "chocolatey" was a bit of a red herring. The colour is close, so is the maker, but not a Diamine ink. I see a tiny bit of shading in very wet nibs, but I wouldn't call it a shader either.
@Scooby921 Sorry, I should have noted that there is no scent, thankfully, or shimmer. And no, not an MB ink. Nor a limited edition.
Pliot Iroshizuku Tsukushi?
Unlikely, I suspect, but couldn't resist a guess whilst I was here.
Not bad, grainweevil, but not a Pilot ink :)
J Herbin Cacao du Brésil?
Yazeh: closer in terms of origin of the maker, much further away in terms of the name :D
Waterman Absolute Brown!:)
Or J Herbin Café des iles?
Dry time and not shading makes it difficult to pinpoint :)
Not a Waterman ink. And, no, when I said closer in terms of origin of maker I meant it wasn't a J Herbin but was European. :p
Hi,
that's a nice ink and nib. :-)
Is it Monteverde Brown Sugar?
Jens
Got it...Rohrer&Klingner Ink Sepia? Though the dry time is fast?
Or Pelikan Edelstein Smoky Quartz? Though the daytime is not as long...
Hi Jens, not a Monteverde: manufactured in the EU :)
Yazeh: geographically, you are moving closer, but not a R&K and not a German ink :p
Or KWZ Brown #3?
