Bah humbug, the one near my mum's is on a Sunday this weekend making it out of reach by train. If only it was on a Saturday, then I would be tempted (weather permitting).

While their dedicated website hasn't updated with 2018 info, Scriptus Toronto has been going on for quite a few years, I believe.

Bah humbug, the pen show closest to me... falls on a Sunday... and Network Rail are doing engineering works... so, doesn't look like I can take myself off to there this year.

They changed their website to https://www.scriptusinc.com/
Scriptus is held annually in October at the Toronto Reference Library in downtown Toronto. I assume they will post the 2019 dates when they become available.
It is a fun show! Perhaps, we can get some folks from northern NY to come and visit.

Mike and Linda (Indy-Pen-Dace) are awesome.

Related to that, this year, for the first time we'll have more than one nibmeisters at the show.

It's about time, the slot for nibmeisters usually are filled up the first hour of the show each day.

yes but then there will THE pen and I will be left out in the cold ... oh well, being a little broke won't be so bad.

Is there an updated calendar of pen show events for the upcoming 6 months of 2022 for May - October that anyone has that is fairly current and accurate?

If you look at the calendars linked above and glean the dates and regions you are interested in, you'll get about as accurate as you can. Alas, information on shows in the midwestern provinces remains rather thin.
