metal-metal adhesive

Hi

I've seen there many posts about the types of adhesive to you, but I'm struggling to find any specifically for my situation. I have a mont blanc 8854 and the threaded ring at the end of the barrel has come away. The fit is too loose for a friction fit, so some kind of adhesive is required

Any advice would be greatly appreciated (I know nothing of repairing pens!)

I would try with an epoxy resin, the one used in model airplane assembly. Put masking tape on the barrel, where the metal parts has to be inserted into, in order to avoid epoxy spilling on the barrel.

I would be expecting MB to fix that.

This.^^^ I would never risk doing anything to a Montblanc pen that would completely wipe out it's warranty. Montblanc are the people to contact.
