Parker 21: squishy sac nipple
I have a Parker 21 in need of a new sac. Unfortunately, the plastic of the sac nipple (below) has become soft which one repair video said was a known issue. What are the best ways to repair?

My current plan is to cut off the material, bore out that end of the connector (?) on the lathe, and fit a metal or plastic tube on to replace it.
This way I don't have to scavenge parts and the fix will be an improvement on the original in terms of longevity.
Maybe there is a more preferable process though?
Re: Parker 21: squishy sac nipple
Your method of repair is correct but make sure to use a non-metallic tube. I’d suggest styrene.
In reality I’d grab a connector from a pen with a broken shell or barrel and be done quick. I’d likely just grab one with a sac and solve that problem too.

This is also what I would do. :)

I might end up doing that if I can source a cheap parts pen.
Thanks folks. :)

I love it when threads have a happy ending like this. :)
