Seriously, 12 pheasant breasts for £3; yup, they're coming home with me, even if they ain't 'suitable' for home freezing.
Must be magic, I just happened to have some fat in the fridge {mostly duck, some bacon, and some beef, plus olive and vegetable oil - it's been used and developed over a few outings}...

Not sure about the South African marinade they were already treated with - Rooibos and some herbs etc, i'm not sure - but besides the fat, they bathed in white rum and peach n apricot jam ;)
