Damn!!! Well I'm not skilled at all but I believe admiring art is an art, too. Soooo, I will sit here and enjoy all your art guys. You are amazing!!! Congrats!!
Ptero ~ and now that Peanuts theme music is bopping along inside my head :D Nice one!
Estilografico ~ Thank-you for your generous words. Art isn't just drawing or painting, as Ptero noted at the beginning of the thread. If you practice bonsai, origami or anything that involves a creative bent then please feel free to share. :D
Thanks :)
And the next dog, Bitzer from the stop-motion series "Shaun the Sheep" (not sure how well known it is all over the world)

I'm familiar with the Wallace & Gromit productions from this animator, and have heard of this one but not seen it. Now I might have to look it up. Good work :)

That's great! :-) Those pastels give a lovely effect. I've not been brave enough to try pastels - I think you need to have a good free & open style of drawing to master them.
Have you ever tried Caran D'Ache Neocolor II water-soluble wax pastels? I really really really want some, but they're pretty expensive.
Thank Migo, you should try them, it's a mess using them but real fun (even for somebody like me who don´t really master them yet).
No I didn't tried the Caran D'Ache yet, unfortunately the good stuff is always expensive-
The folks which master the pastels always fascinate me, it's almost magical what they can create with them.
I bought Staedtler Carbothello Soft Pastel pens some time ago but did not used them much yet.
I really have to practice with pastels.
I like the increadible bright pigments, but unfortunately they are such fragile.
Also I did not found a perfect fixative yet, the fixative always kill (at least partly) the brilliance of the colors.
This one I did about 2 years ago testing the Carbothello pens

Ptero ...I come back from visiting my daughter in Ottawa and find that you have installed an entire kennel in this thread :D
Nice parrot too...he's probably in charge of the entire operation!
I counter with one of the images from my Wilted Beauties series of flowers....(I find fading flowers to be very aesthetically fascinating)
