I asked FC about this. The Nagahara nibs can only be purchased with a pen. Audrey's SIG grinds can be purchased as a standalone item.
Seeing as I am posting here: this arrived recently. With a Medium Nagahara Stub (the cursive italics were sold out in fine and medium  ).

Nice looking threads! What model is that?
Re: What is your latest pen acquisition?
Model 20: it's a slip cap :p

I've been considering one of those. I even think in that color. Nice!

The vintage vibe won me over. :)

Pelikan 605.

I was unsure about buying an M600 - I get along with 400s and 120s just fine - and then I saw a black 605. I had to, and I love it.
I remember my first pen over $50, I was so torn about spending THAT much money. That was back a bit, but I admit that this one made me gulp.
Re: What is your latest pen acquisition?
Pelikan m200 gold marbled, and Pelikan m600 red tortoise. It was really only a question of time. I think I held out pretty well there, no? :-)

Defintely recommend the model 20 "Marietta". After I tried the one that Marie kindly lent me, it has been often in my thoughts to acquire. That was a version in vintage green, a colour I really liked, but in the end I plumped for one in Kaleidoscope, which is a terrifically fun splash of colours. This model of FC pen is likely (in my opinion) to suit almost any hand. Mine are huge and I can use this pen unposted (it's fine) or posted (it's superb!). The Nagahara fine cursive italic is simply amazing too - my previous experience with this kind of grind was a bit of a let down, but confidence is restored. This nib writes pretty much the same as my favourite dip pen - an Esterbrook #442 Jackson stub - only smoother. :)
I think the FC's offering on nib grinds really helps the brand to stand a step up, and the quality of the pens themselves seem to be on a higher level than most of the independent makers I've experienced so far.
Incidentally, does anyone know if FC's Kaleidoscope acrylic is the same as Edison's Rock Candy acrylic?
ps. @silverlifter, you are in NZ yes?

If it's not exactly the same acrylic, I suspect there's nothing to choose between them - they certainly look the same, and quote the same colour combination.
I have a new pen that I'm really enjoying - this is a Karas Kustoms Vertex in white delrin with the sea glass coloured section. I bought it completely on a whim when I was looking for something completely different, and I'm very pleased I did.
I got the broad titanium nib, and found it a bit 'blobby', so have stubbed it slightly - actually it's probably more italic than stub as I haven't really softened the edges much and it's an absolute joy to use. The section is one of the most comfortable I've used in a modern pen - right up there with my favourites, and the clever cap closure seems perfectly airtight so far.

Re: What is your latest pen acquisition?
After nearly two-years of abstention, I’ve fallen back down the rabbit hole. Including the Wancher Seven Treasures in Bakelite which finally arrived, that’s six new pens in just few weeks.

Hi Maria
I just picked up the new reissue of the Parker 51. I have a vintage model and wanted to compare. I think I like the new one better.

I just picked up the new reissue of the Parker 51, Midnight Blue, medium nib. I compared it to a vintage one I have and I think I like the new one better. I like the screw cap and the converter. My biggest dislike is that it feels small in my hand. It writes smoothly with almost no feed back. Otherwise it is pretty much the same.

Re: What is your latest pen acquisition?
I got a couple of dark sparkly pens yesterday. I don't normally do shimmer inks, but I may have to make an exception for these - as I think they need to be matched!

I like the black Pelikans, maybe even more than the tortoise stripe.
At any rate, is that really an EF nib? Has it been modified in some way?

Top one's from Bonecrusher Studios, and the bottom one's from the Woodshed Pen Co. And I'm delighted with them! I've realised that the modern pens I enjoy are definitely as minimal as possible, preferably with no extraneous fittings and furniture, but that I do have a weakness for pretty materials! In many ways they're very like my favourite really old pens, which tend to be very unadorned early 20th Century eyedroppers.
I have no excuse for all the stuff I have that falls in between the two extremes :)
