Spam-O-Matic - a new plugin to help fight spam

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has reported spam. I try to take care of it as quickly as I can sometimes I can't get to it as quickly as I'd like.

To help reduce the amount of spam here I've installed the Spam-O-Matic plugin. It checks new registrations for known spammers against the database at StopForumSpam and if spam does get through, then Akismet should take care of it.

Of course, there might be a few kinks that need worked out with the settings so spam may still get through. If you see any, please continue to report it and I can use the plugin to submit it to the database.

Dan, one thing I used effectively was setting the default location during registration to Baker Island. Then any registration that was from Baker Island just got banned automatically.

Sounds simple enough. Thanks for the tip, jar.

Your article made me think about this issue in a new way. Rufus supports a variety of partition schemes, including MBR, GPT, and UEFI. Rufus kim possible can create bootable drives for a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and MacOS. Keep up the work.

Looks like the Spam-O-Matic plugin needs an update! :wink:

What the heck, I reported it too.

Still it's always good to be reminded of Dan and how good he was when he was here. Goodness knows what he would think of this shambolic place now it's been left like the Mary Celeste. When Eric returned he didn't like the fact that money was being made by some FPG sales. Now he's got folk asking for and selling cannabis on here.
