A little color groupings of some of mine
Gathered some of mine up for a little color study.
Reds, Greens & Blues, Browns and Golds, Blacks and Greys.
Omitted a few to make room for the layout, which usually excluded some of the cheaper moderns.
A couple are inked (one in each grouping apparently).
- Reds : Sheaffer Touchdown Sentinel Deluxe, 14K F~M, Waterman Mysterious Blue
- Greens/Blues : Oversized Sheaffer Balance, 14K Flex Fine, Montblanc Irish Green
- Browns/Golds : Wahl 214AW (tiny minature ring top), #0 semiflex Fine~Medium, R&K Scabiosa
- Blacks/Greys : Wahl-Eversharp Doric, #4 Personal Point 14K "Signature" (Semi-flex) Gold Seal "M" nib, Waterman Inspired Blue

Sheaffer black pencil sixth from the left in the bottom row. I'm not familiar with that design, and I initially thought Eversharp! What model/year Sheaffer pen would that have been paired with, originally?

I love those reds. Great colours! Some great pens there too of course.

Fineline, though the pencil and the pen by the same name are about a decade apart.
The Pen was about late 1940s onwards, The pencil around late 1930s, into early 40s.

Btw just noticed this ad, seems the Fineline Pencil was paired with the Triumph Pen, so I already had a matching set technically. Putting them both in 1940s

But the pencil has been around for a while ,because it's here in this 1939 ad too.
