Anyone try an Opus 88 Pocket pen?
I have, and love, the large Opus 88 Demonstrator with a great EF nib. Fit outings, I was considering their pocket pen. Does anyone here have any experience with them? The section girth seems good but the grip length looks short. Also, does it post? Any comments?
Thanks...

To add on, I'm looking for a smaller but wide-gripped eyedropper filler with a cut off valve, preferably with a clip. I have thin long fingers. I like very smooth EF nibs. For non-cut-off, I have a Newton and a Kaweco Sport.

Re: Anyone try an Opus 88 Pocket pen?
I have an Opus Fantasia which I'd classify as a pocket pen. The cap screws on to the back making it a full length pen in use. The section is a straight cylinder, not my favorite shape. You could consider a TWSBI mini (cap also screws on the end) or a Moonman eyedropper model (no shut off valve, though).

I have one for sale. A Fantasia.
It does post but it is a screw on cap.
I don't know about the other small opus's (opie?) but the cap on this one has a ridge that fits into a slot in the blind cap in case it is screwed on too tight.

Thanks, Doug. The grip looks a bit awkward for my long fingers.

Re: Anyone try an Opus 88 Pocket pen?
:offtopic: How would the Stipula Passaporto compare? One design has the nice concave-sided section.
Re: Anyone try an Opus 88 Pocket pen?
The opus has a bigger section.
I have had 2 Passaportos and felt they were too small for me to use comfortably.
But then, that's just me.
