Any green pens out there today?
Happy St. Patrick's Day! I chose this pen for my 'wearing of the green': the 2016 LE pen made for members of Pentrace by the Marlen Company of Italy. A beautifully deep green Italianate resin, full of chatoyance, it uses a piston filling mechanism and sports their "Aleph" nib, which later... inspired other brands looking for some flex. This was all brought to us by our pen friend, Giovanni Abrate.
If you are wondering about the background, I have the pen filled with Monteverde "Yosemite Green"!

Sure and it's a lovely pen you have there.
Re: Any green pens out there today?
That's a nice looking pen. I particularly like the chrome with green rather than the usual GP.

Nicely done, Fred. I've always liked that pattern, even picked up a few Wearevers that followed suit. Unfortunately, I have two Silver-Ray Ink-View pens, the sum total of which don't even add up to one decent Waterman. Part of my early days trolling for interesting stuff and getting, often, crap. Live and learn! Love the postcard.

Fred
The Pelikan is both, vintage and modern, it's a Pelikan LE 1935 in Jade celluloid. It dates from 1998.

..and yes, I have opened this book, more than one time. It is a great book about the planning and building of the "Chiesa di Mogno" (chappel at Mogno, TI, Switzerland) by Mario Botta. The book contains from early drawings over plans up to photographs of the final building. I love this book. The cover looks like this:

...but this has nothing to do with St. Patricks Day.
