Re: Mystery Ink #36 and #37
Thank you junglejim. I haven't looked at them yet so no spoilers from me. :)
Re: Mystery Ink #36 and #37
The last mystery ink flight was fun, so I'd love to participate again! I'll have to compete for one of the international spots as I'm in Canada.
Re: Mystery Ink #36 and #37
Same here as BP. Another Canuck! But please give my place to anyone new!
Re: Mystery Ink #36 and #37
I haven't done the Mystery Ink for a while, I would love to participate again, if you have space for a US resident. But, if there is someone new, I would prefer to give them the opportunity.
Re: Mystery Ink #36 and #37
You know what I'm gonna say: if no one else wants it, I'm in! And thanks, junglejim, for continuing the fun. 🎉
Re: Mystery Ink #36 and #37

Re: Mystery Ink #36 and #37
Good Afternoon!
The ink flight for MI#36 and 37 is now closed.
Could DrPenfection please PM me your name and address so I can prepare the ink packets? I already have everyone else's addresses.
I went to Random.org and used the list randomizer function and the results came out:

There were 2 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

At least it's a pretty crash almost looks like when someone re-ended my parking lot striping trailer, white yellow red blue and black paint everywhere
Thanks

Re: Mystery Ink #36 and #37
Both International ink packets were mailed out this morning. I'll try to get the US ink flights out on Wednesday or Thursday.
My first choice for MI #36 had to be changed. It was a brand new bottle of ink ordered on 27 May 2021 specifically for Mystery Inks, since I liked the sample vial of it. The package arrived in June and I opened it in July to send a sample to Chrissy as MI#36 along with #37 and her other ink samples. Nothing unusual, until I opened it again on Sunday to prep all of the ink flights. There was a hiss, followed by a whiff of rotten eggs. SiTB!!! I sent a quick email to the online store to notify them of the problem. Lisa Vanness emailed back this morning " Yikes! I thought we caught most of them; I am sorry. You can email yafa directly for a replacement. Just let them know your information and address." So apparently another bad ink batch going around.
So MI #36 is now a completely different color from a completely different manufacturer. Mystery Ink #37 is still the same. I notified Chrissy and she graciously offered to sit out on reviewing MI #36 and will just do #37. Thanks Chrissy!

Thanks Jim... Wow what a story :D
Re: Mystery Ink #36 and #37
iCK! ICK! ICK! Glad that you got rid of it! As you know, I had to pitch a brand new bottle of another ink this weekend due to an SITB! And, I believe it was from a different manufacturer. I was thinking about my experience and I do remember that the lid had a slight bulge in it before I opened it. I am not wondering what would have happened if I hadn't caught it. It likely would have exploded all over my ink drawer. Ick! Ick! Ick!
Thanks for catching that!

Re: Mystery Ink #36 and #37
Thank you again for continuing this amazing opportunity, I'm real excited since it's been a while since I've done one, sadly the pen I used for every other one is down for the count so that kind of sucks, but I am real excited for the fun that is to come and how it brings us together to just have some good old fun
Thanks
