Help me date this Omas Milord

Dear friends and Omas experts,

I am hoping that you can help me to identify the date/time period in which this fountain pen was manufactured.

It is an Omas Arte Italiana series Milord in bronze arco. And I am wondering if this is a pre-2000 pen, perhaps with a Omas manufactured nib. What makes me think it's a pre-2000 pen is:

1. no "O" ring on the finial
2. two-toned broad nib that writes soft and wet, but is not what I would describe as being "springy", nor is it mushy like an M1000. It is, however, very responsive, giving subtle line variation in response to changes in stroke direction and pressure; and so, so smooth; a real joy to write with. The line variation is, I think, due mainly to changes in ink flow and to the stubby-like tip, not to the tines spreading out to lay down a wider line
3. the horizontal Omas markings on the nib with the classic arrow
4. the greek key pattern going all the way around the cap ring
5. the only other marking is on the cap, "Omas, Italy"
6. it came with a really nice, Omas marked leather sleeve in the box

So, what say you, Omas experts? When was this pen manufactured? And what do you think is the origin of the nib?

(Nota bene: it’s not terribly important to me to have an Omas in-house nib. The Bock nibs are really good too. I’m just curious about the origins of this pen.)

Can we assume there are no numerals engraved on the section?

That’s right. No date on the section.

From my research, i think it’s a late 90s model with a bock nib. Does anyone know when Omas stopped making the two tone nibs?

IIRC, Omas didn’t switch to Bock nibs until the mid to late 2000s - like 2007 or so.

Late 1990's and early 2000's almost never had a date. Old style Milord was made well into the 2000's. I know old style Paragons were still being made in 2016.
Omas never stopped making two tone nibs, though they probably stopped making old style Milord nibs in the mid 2000's (an assumption on my part).
There is plenty of information, and some catalogs, available here and on FPN.

I don't know how you could date this one exactly. I would just say early 2000's.

Just to clarify, Omas stopped making nibs in house and starting using nibs from Bock - to include two tone nibs.
