Mine is in it's original box :)
The one I use most comes with a cap...

The others I keep in the plastic tubes they came in.
I believe you asked this on reddit? I use a pen sleeve from Rickshaw Bagworks.
Yes...just trying to see if there were any other options out there that I did not know about. Would like the pen(s) displayed and easy to get to but also protected to some extent.
I‘m with Jon, they are not really fragile, mine often lays around with other drawing/writing devices on my desk.
Or I toss it into a box with the other devices when I decide that too many items laying around on the desk.
Which only happens from time to time as I‘m quite mess tolerant.
(My wife regularly claims that my office is like a waste dump 🤪 )
So I think they don‘t need to be pampered, glass is hard and unless you shatter it by dumping it on a hard floor quite indestructible. :smash:
Hehe, the one thing I do try to make certain is that it isn't just lying about on the desktop. I have cats. They make things happen.
My daughter made a cute bird pen cradle for my dip pens out of polymer clay. If you're creative that is a fun way to go.
Speaking of reddit I saw someone using a glass pen rest that combined with the glass pen should be marked NSFW lol.
I don't have a glass dip pen but for two of my steel nib dip pens I used a 3d printer to make simple pen holders. One could make the same out of a small bit of wood.
