Re: just some pen pics from time to time...
Great drawing, great picture!
I have a version of this around somewhere with three different coloured pencils, and I recall at one point having one with a ballpoint and two different grades of pencil. The body of that one cracked badly (it got dropped a lot!).
I have a modern version from Platinum (2 pens, 1 pencil) that is very functional, but much less robust, but I think my favourite was another Japanese version called something like a locus that included a pencil eraser. I must go and look in the pencil drawer to see what happened to it, though these days I rarely use anything much more sophisticated than a koh i nor.

the trio-pen is a single pen with three writing systems into it. works like a multi color ball point, but in htis case with different lead size. for refill, the pen has to be disassembled and every unit refilled seperately. a fiddly job...

Christof, There just might be a job opening at Lamy for you, but I know you'd prefer old-school Pelikan.

Quality control problem at the factory: those tortoise pens don't look all the same! :D
Re: just some pen pics from time to time...
I had to come back to try to choose a favourite. I think it's #5, but it might be #8.

BTW, when you are done with that, can I have it for a cat scratching post? The cats would love it!

If you can wait until 2028 and if you will cover the shipping costs (the model is over 2 meters long and weighs 50 kg...) we could talk about... :)

It's a bit like the ultimate Lundby doll's house :) My daughter would have loved that when she was little.

What's with the elephants on the first floor? Is this a multi-storey zoo?
Which nib is in your "51"?

Come now Fred. They're Wooly Mammoths. When did you see an elephant with fringe?

Everyone's hair got a little shaggy in the past year or so ...
Re: just some pen pics from time to time...

Then it must be the design for the new Confoederatio Helvetica Natural History Museum.
