Re: Desk/Writing Area Photos
My Desk and writing area. Desk was one of my Great-grandfathers painting desks plus some of his stuff and mine.
Re: Desk/Writing Area Photos
Hi,
Where did you get that leather pen holder? Very cool.
Re: Desk/Writing Area Photos
Lovely roll top desk, I had wanted one of these so badly years ago.

Hahaha. Nursing student, I decided to change career paths a couple years ago and went back to school. But yours sounds way more interesting.
Re: Desk/Writing Area Photos
Hi Timl,
Which item in the photo are you looking at? There is a lot there. In one of the little square spaces on the left is a FC 2 pen holder and a 3 pen holder on the other side of Virgil. Thanks..

You need to work on the clutter. It's nowhere near as cluttered as mine!

Looks like the link to the photo of my desk is dead. I'll upload it instead.

Here is what the desk looks like right now, with a Moore L-82, a Moore L-95, a Conklin 4NL and the Chris Thompson solid copper Sheaffer Balance OS demanding my attention for installing new sacs:

Maybe tomorrow, instead.

I have my suet bird feeder outside the window so I can have my little bird friends to keep me company.

I've really enjoyed looking back through all of these desk photos. So glad this thread was resurrected. :)

Re: Desk/Writing Area Photos
I do have another small desk in the master bedroom. It serves as a major storehouse for stationary, and I don't sit at it as often as my bigger desk in the spare bedroom (above).

My work desk.

I take a lot of work notes via bullet journalling (left).
I rarely use my Western Electric 302 but it works and even dials out (after refurbishing and adjusting the dialer).
The pens out today on my 3d printed stand are MB 221, Skyline, "51", Jinhao 8802, and Wahl Ringtop. I made the dip pen holder on my micro lathe. It is sporting an Esterbrook 048 Falcon.

Good to see a range of ink brands - Pilot, Diamine, Pelikan, Herbin, De Atramentis... and interesting fact the rotary phone still works - phonegeeks.com might soon be a thing!!

Absolutely agree!
I just wish my desks are organized enough for me to take a photo of.

Full disclosure: had to do some serious clearing off of the desk before I could snap a pic!

In my case, a serious clearing won't do :D
More like a major undertaking. See, I test my restored pens in the same desk, so part of my desk is buried with pens and pen parts, not to mention my tools and restoration supplies. My wife bought me a small rolling cart which helps somewhat.
