This was taken with a Leica M10 Monochrom. It's a digital camera, but produces only black and white images. Lens was a 35mm.

Nice aerial image of what looks like Chicago's lake shore, and of the Bahai temple jutting up in the top third of the photo.
While walking Manny on Sunday, I saw a funnel cloud snake its way South over the boulevard ...

This is a phone shot of a Jonathan Irish print he gave me. He's a National Geo photographer (or has been, I don't know if he's still doing that). You'll no doubt recognize the South Dakota Badlands, one of his favorite places. Wish we could have the quality of the original image.

Fred , You have two option to get a Film scanner . ( 35Mm/ medium format ) It the Epson Flatbed scanner with which you could use a dedicated negative holder to do the scanning.
Secondly if you could find a Nikon Cool scanner for medium format it is the top choice. It is relatively costly as you can reproduce Hi-Res scanning.
Also you can check for a Nikon Cool scanner for 35mm Only. It is less expensive and only for 35mm.
Although Nikon do not supports... Nikon 's own Software for the present PC Or Mac flat forms ,there are independent Software developers do that to for continued used to keep those two Old scanners!!
If you want to digitise on to HI-RESELUTION FILES IT IS WORTH LOOKING AT THOSE TWO SCANNERS!!!
