I ordered Diamine Steel Blue ink from Amazon, but was mistakenly delivered a bird feeder.
Should I melt it down and pour it into a Pelikan? Has anyone tried this?

Is the feeder ebonite?
And is it a nice bird feeder?
Someone on a bird forum probably just posted: “WTF, I ordered the Squirrel Buster 2000 off Amazon and they sent me a bottle of ink”
I think by the end of the saga, you'll have both feeder for your birds and ink for your feed.
I'm dying here. Thanks for this thread!
No.
it's the Internet. It's always there when you look.
Thanks for the fantastic feedback everyone.
I did finally receive the ink today! So I took Wile's advice and poured it into the bird feeder.
And who needs a Montblanc when you've got a bird feeder?

I have actually spent time on bird forums. Mostly exotics, as I have a parrot and have kept several of them over the years..but wild birds are big too. People are really into them. I have one feeder, and fill it pretty religiously, though I’m not a fanatic or anything. I do like birds, I like feeding them, and watching them, and I get excited if I see an unusual one and I’ll look it up and learn about it. Aaand....I have a Squirrel Buster feeder. Best feeders out there, they last forever, worth every penny - though not entirely squirrel proof. Those little f*****s are smart, they figure a way around everything eventually.
Squirrels never bother my feeders: 50 lbs. millet + 50 lbs. safflower + 20oz. pepper flakes Tree-rats may not like it while the birds happily eat. I simply copied the ingredients of an over-priced squirrel-proof brand.
