Amazing web site. Thank you for sharing your hard work.
Hi Sia,
Is 134 short window more uncommon than long window?
I just got one and I don't see it yet on your website.
Hello!
This week I have something truly special to share - a 124 E with rose chasing. This is as rare as it gets my friends! https://www.vintagemontblancpens.com/124e-rose-chasing
Also, here is a No. 2 silver overlay safety from about 100 years ago, but with a very rare characteristic - it has no branding or marking on it. https://www.vintagemontblancpens.com...er-safety-no-2
Enjoy!
Ooooo I am going to be frequenting this website often!!

Zisi -- many thanks for your hard work on the website. I read all the interviews, which were illuminating. Moving on to your reviews.
Very nice site. I too had the pleasure of visiting Francis' little workshop in St. Niklaas. Lucky you! Great job!
I am excited to present to you two rare pens from the 1920s:
1. A Rouge et Noir in the rare size 12 --> https://www.vintagemontblancpens.com/rouge-et-noir-12
2. An Octagonal Safety No. 6 with Silver Overlay --> https://www.vintagemontblancpens.com...silver-overlay
Enjoy!
I have just returned from a wonderful family vacation in Spain! While in Barcelona, I had the opportunity to visit one of my favourite sellers and buy two wonderful pens: No. 0 lever filler
+ 244 in grey (Tiger Eye style).
I also received a No. 4 compressor filler as an exchange for one of my pens (through a swap I did with an FPN member in the US).
I will review these pens on our website over the coming weeks.
More interestingly, I met with Jordi Lopez in person in Barcelona! As you may recall, he is one of the generous contributors of rare pens on our website. I will be writing about my meeting with him and sharing pics of some really cool pens he showed me. It was a fascinating morning!
But, in the meantime, here are two super beautiful rare pens from the collection of Ariel Z - the No. 4 & No. 6 lever fillers in mottled red --> https://www.vintagemontblancpens.com...er-mottled-red
Stay tuned for more!
It is with great pleasure that I share with you some notes from my meeting with Jordi Lopez (Joudenali) - one of the most prolific collectors of rare Montblanc vintage pens!
You are about to see some really cool and super rare pens - a few are undocumented and may even be the only example around :)
Enjoy!

Sia,
The rare and unusual pens are great, but I confess I love the interviews best! Thank you so very much.
Fred
I have to say it is really great to experience that collection of pens vicariously through your article. Thanks so much for sharing! Looking forward to more.
Thanks Fred! I have a couple more ideas in the pipeline for interviews, let’s hope they work out. They are the hardest to execute :)
I am a big fan of glass nib pens - I find them to be super consistent and reliable writers. So, what could be better than a glass nib MB :) Check this No. M.G. 420 out! https://www.vintagemontblancpens.com/mg-420-glass-nib
Enjoy!
Here's two pretty cool pens!
1. Octagonal Safety 4J from the 1920s - the "J" nib was a special calligraphic flexible nib, these are super hard and rare to find! https://www.vintagemontblancpens.com/octagonal-no-4j
2. 242 Grey Tiger Eye - This is the beautiful grey coloured version of the red/brown Tiger Eye, and this particular pen was made in Spain n the 1950s. https://www.vintagemontblancpens.com...grey-tiger-eye
Enjoy!
Check out the beautiful colour on this Azurite No. 20 lever filler. Wow! https://www.vintagemontblancpens.com...-lever-azurite
Enjoy!
Not only Montblanc had "J" nibs. Also Waterman's made these:
