Sheaffer Legacy 1 & 2 nib compatible or not

Hi all

A quick question I hope.

Will a nib section for a Legacy 2 fit and work on a Legacy 1, I was thinking of changing my nib to a broad from the current fine but can only find Legacy 2 nib sections.

Anyone know if they fit and work ok.

I once asked "speedbob" this question and he advised me that they were interchangeable and completely compatible. He has swapped nibs between Legacy 1 and 2 pens many times. :)
