New Colorverse Inks

This is what excites me...

Curious what the grey will look like compared to Rainy Day. They already have a handful of blacks (sunspot, black hole, selectron… one other?)

I do like that bottle design, but the Joy in the Ordinary colors grabbed me more.

I’m always looking for a good blue-black. I love Colorverse so I’m really looking forward to this release.

My opinion of Colorverse is mixed. I like some of the colors but the inks I've used tend to be fairly dry.

I haven't tried any of their inks because of their expense and strange marketing. I do plan to buy this version in black, at least. I collect and evaluate as many black inks as I can.

I also haven't bought any and have only tried samples that I've been given. I could never understand why a completely new ink manufacturer, anywhere in the world, would attempt to market two bottles of ink, in the same colour, when that in itself added a significant amount due to shipping costs.

To me black ink is black ink is black ink. One bottle is more than enough. I have a bottle of J.Herbin Perle Noir should I ever feel the need to write with it, plus part of a huge bottle of Noodler's Borealis Black that I never use. :) Oh and I have some Omas Black that I decanted out of an Omas bottle as I wanted to use the bottle for some other ink. At this moment in time, I haven't thrown away the Omas Black ink, but it's getting close. :)

Colorverse inks are really good. Vortex Motion in particular is quite a fascinating ink. I find the colour change as it dries beguiling. I have lots of inks but nothing quite like that one.

I actually enjoy all the Colorverse inks I’ve tried and as I love grayscale inks I’m looking forward to trying some of the new ones.
