I read in a classified listing that a "fluorocarbon o-ring" was used in a pen restoration. Are there such things? I'm accustomed to reading about fluorocarbons in context of aerosol propellants.

Fluorocarbon is used in making fishing line.
Apparently fluorocarbon o-rings are a thing. This talks about Viton[emoji2400] and fluorocarbon o-rings.
