I want to say waterman tender purple but you said it's an ink manufacturer

J. Herbin Violette Pensee maybe....
SIR, just tell us already....and post another....
Noodler's Periwinkle?
murasaki-shikibu?
I want to say J. Herbin Scented Violet... but it doesn't look blue enough :|
A very similar hue but maybe not quite so saturated.
OK, so the particular ink shown is one of the more popular/raved about inks from this manufacturer, but although this manufaturer is quite well known and has an established following amongst fountain pen enthusiasts, their inks are available only direct from them or from a small handful of independent stockists.
Bung-Box Imperial Purple ?
Maybe P.W. Akkerman Parkpop Purper
KWZ Gummiberry?
Ok folks... here's the next ink :D

Diamine Ancient Copper
Diamine Red Dragon

Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Rose
Not quite
Nope
Definitely not
Nope.
I'll give everyone a hint.
The manufacturer is not one that people think of when we talk inks.
It occasionally comes up when we talk pens.
And look at the sheen! (from a very wet Masuyama B Stub... not so much out of a Visconti steel F)

Hmmmmm, Sailor Jentle Grenade?
*eye slowly twitches* diamine syrah?

Really difficult......... Franklin Christoph Syrah Syrah maybe
Faber Castell Garnet Red could also fit, but I do not know if it has sheen......
LoL I figured this one would stump most people!
And nope :D
There's a FC Syrah? Must go investigate!
And we have a winner here folks!
(despite the ability to spell like an engineer!)
I picked a sample of it up as a possible replacement for the Pelikan Edelstein Garnet that I love, but was only produced in limited quantities. I only have 2 bottles and 4 long cartridges of that one, so I figure I'd run out sooner or later :)
Okay Pterodactylus, your turn!
And the sheen didn't really show up until I let the ink concentrate in the pen (i.e. I forgot about it and I think the color saturated more than a fresh fill).
Yes and no. The lighter notes of the writing sample done with the Franklin Christoph B Stub looks the same shade as my fresh pull sample, but then again, I think it did not darken all that much in that pen. It's a very wet writer and that seems to produce the darker, sheenier color.
My garnet is an unusually light color and makes it unusable in anything but my flex pens

Thanks Naimitsu, Garnet seems to be a really interesting ink.
I do not have it, but the pictures I saw were also that dark.
Btw. I´m also an engineer ;)
