    Default Ebonized Pearl Sheaffer Balances. A would-be art shot.

    I did this shot a few years ago to make a gift of a hard-copy photo to a pen friend. Shot in real space (not a montage), it offers a rarely seen accumulation of scarce and/or high-cachet variants, some off-catalogue. This bunch is at the heart of my personal collection. It turns out that wee dabbling (so to speak) at Balances-- in the context of great experience hunting old pens-- can yield nice results.

    Kudos to those who can identify the charming and nifty features found with the pens shown here.
