Default Any pen shops in Cincinnati?

I am going to be in Cincinnati next week, I will be staying in the North East suburbs (Kenwood) but will be getting around much of the city while there. I figured if there was a good pen shop I might stop by. I don't need anything, but figured I might look if I am near one. I grew up in Cincinnati, but have been away for almost 20 years.

Howdy, miatapaul! I have no idea how current this info is, but there is a store called Appointments the Business Store in Cincinnatti, located in the Carew Tower at 441 Vine Street (Tel: 421-7430) according to this page:

I have no idea if/how current the information is, but it's a start....Oh, they have a website here: http://www.411pens.com/

That might work out as I can take the kids for a walk around down town, and subtly say, hey lets check out the stores in Carew Tower. I remember when I was a kid we went downtown shopping and I think it was in the Carew Tower they had a Rolls Royce set sitting on tea cups. It was likely Christmas as that was the only time we went into town.

Here is a link to a Cincinnati based pen club:

They may be able to provide some ideas.

That's actually a great idea (wish I'd thought of it...)

    Hi guys!
Cincinnati resident here. I realize this is a dead thread but am posting in case someone else searches 'Cincinnati' like I did and finds this.

Appointments is a great shop. Doug Kennedy is the owner and he is a wonderful resource to talk to. They have a really great selection of Diamine inks in the shop as Doug is a big fan. If you are at Appointments, you should stop at the Orchids at Palm Court restaurant (connected) and get their pasta bar for lunch. Really, really good.

There really are no other fountain pen shops in the Cincinnati-area, but there are lots of fountain pen enthusiasts. The Porkopolis Penners are a very active group and I used to attend their meetings but have lost touch with my travel schedule. Email Rick or Fabienne (contact info on site linked above) and they will set you up.
