Default While [im]patiently waiting for inks and carriages

To arrive in the post, I've run into those while out for lunch. For some reason I didn't expect the local school supply store to carry inks at all:-)

Is there anything specific I should know about Pelikan inks ? I've bought two of them..

Other than they are wonderfully behaved inks, I don't believe so.

They run on the drier side of the median in my experience

I agree. Slightly dry but rock solid (that is good) otherwise.

Slightly dry sounds absolutely perfect as I currently have just 2 Chinese pens with medium nibs which are sort of "wet" ,so will be good to decrease that tendency a bit

Good ink, well behaved. In a well behaved pen it will be perfect!

One of my favourite ranges of inks. Especially the Blue-Black but that's not available everywhere, on the shelf.

I love the Turquoise and the Violet. I have a pen with Nib Creep, and those work well in it (as does the Diamine Presidential Blue someone recommended).
