Montblanc Permanent Blue and Black

Read the couple reviews available, and ordered a bottle of each. Before inking up a piston or power filler pen, how difficult is it to clean a pen of these inks?

I have not tried the blue, but the black comes right out with no issues.
I have used it in a Pelikan 100N & M250, Lamy 2000 and Parker 45 that I remember.

I have used both MB Permanent Black and Blue with no problems.

I don't have the black but the blue wasn't a problem at all and a nice ink.

I've kept to the regular inks because I can't seem to not get at least some on my fingers. But I've been tempted to try the permanents

I love the blue, but I have had some ink flow issues, which I believe stem from not thoroughly cleaning the pen of all previous ink residue. I resorted to using a sonic cleaner and maybe went a tad overboard on the flushing (with bulb syringe). But not overboard if it worked. Which it did.

I noticed that I had absolutely no problems using the ink (cartridge) in the Mb 100 Historical, which is a tough pen to thoroughly clean - meaning, I didn't get it quite as clean as with the other pens I had problems with.

Right now, I'm using the ink in an Aurora Optima (F) (kindv F/M), and it's a beautiful combination.

I've been using the Permanent Blue in my Homo Sapiens Steel Age with an EF nib. Absolutely love it's color and writing characteristics in this pen. Planning to clean out my MB 149 desk pen of the ink presently in it to give the Permanent Black a spin. Thanks for the feedback folks!
