Pelikan 400N Green Green (Cap, Section And Blind Cap)

Hello all,

Today and I received a pen that made me jump when opening the package.

Having bought a Pelikan 400N thanks to a kind friend that pointed me to the right place:thumbup: I was convince it was the regular (not so easy to find already) Pelikan 400N Black cap and black knob and green striated barrel., but I was surprised by this:



It´s the green Green 400N pen!! Those are hard to get and the first I put in my collection. Green cap, green section and green blind cap.

Here is a pictures side by side with a black one to check the difference better:


These 400N pens where only produced briefly from December 1955 and 1956. The 400NN was released on 23 April 1956. There is a catalogue that shows both 400, 400N and 400NN being retailed at the same time in August 1956. - [according to - Pelikan Schreibgerate, Jurgen Ditmmer and Martin Lehamann, 2004]
