Default Pelikan collectors web site with a lot of information and many photos!

    Dear collectors community!

Even though my todo list is far from empty, I want to present you my collectibles page, the site has over 2,000 photos and describes nearly 500 Pelikan piston fillers are now be considered.

    https://www.rothemel.de/pelikan

I have very nice Supporters with photos, a good exchange and good ideas!
Only through such assistance can I make corresponding information on cartridge fountain in future.

Particularly welcome is every constructive criticism.
Any error note (if spelling errors in content or in translation (I really need a native speaker who check and correct my page! ), wrong information), forgotten pens or whatever is welcome!

Each supplement whether lack of a fountain pen or your own photos, ideas to technical improvement, self-written articles or or or ... can make this site more useful only.

Hope the site is useful for you!

I´m looking forward to your response!

Wow. I love the timeline of changes in the Pel 100. It really makes the points so well, particularly since the photos are focused on showing eg the difference between the old and new Pelikan designs on the cap. I haven't seen timelines used like this for FP information before and it works very well. (A related infographic style that impressed me recently was the Parker 45 timeline done as a sort of family tree - http://pencollect.co.uk/45timeline.htm.)

And the site is very good looking.

If you'd like me to help make the English a little more idiomatic I'd be happy to help; it's very understandable though. I know if I was writing in German, I would not be turning out such a good job. PM me if you'd like to take me up on that.

A small criticism, that it took me a little while to work out the navigation by tabs from the front page. I think maybe because on my display the grey didn't show up well. Otherwise, a lovely effort, very clean and easy to see where the infomation is.

    dnic,

a beautiful site, I enjoyed browsing through it. much work went into it. Congratulations!

one problem that's easy to fix: it's 'much information'. (Information is not plural in English.) Otherwise I think everyone seems to agree, your thoughtful design contains much information and answers many questions.

    Thanks again!

I love the timeline feature! Have you considered making a combined one for all of Pelikan's pens over their history?

    Hi fountainpenkid,

yes, I tried a timeline from the first pen until today. But I´m not satisfied with. Only in german and only a test: https://www.rothemel.de/de/Pelikan/Modelle/modelle.html

That is awesome! I think, however, that what Pelikan did in their 'dormant' period during the 60s and 70s would be interesting to see. There are some modern pens not on there--you should I think cover them if you were to do a final version.

In their "dormant" period pelikan makes a lot of cartridge fillers.
You find most of them on my website. A few series are missing, but the website is growing.
But interesting are the First-models, Pelikano, Signum and more.

For a timeline it´s too much and there are only a few collectores who cover all pelikan pens.
Most collectors I know specialised on the piston filler.

Thank you all for the kind words.

In the last weeks there was additional sites about cartridge fillers. Pelikano, lern-to-write pens, Calligraphy pens, ... (almost all pics and information came from a German Collector "Otto Lütkemeyer"). Hope this is interesting for all visitors, too.

    I'm pleased about every message!

If anyone has information (eg catalogues, leaflets, pics - everything is welcome to improve the quality of the information on my website).

    Thank you!

With a great enjoy I am surfing thru dnic's website! Excellent, thank you very much!
Recently I received Pelikan Celebry 590 fountainpen and pen K 590. Nib and everything else- feeder, body, engravings, cap- looks exactly same as on dnic's respective website page. But, there are two "issues"- 1. the color is grey- marble, slightly lighter than Agate black, and 2. the fountain pen is cartridge converter. I would very much appreciate if anybody can tell me whether I obtained authentic Pelikan Celebry or I purchased a copy?
    Thanks for any opinion.

@kuli1961: It is difficult to show the exact color on a picture, but I´m sure your Celebry is authentic if e.g. the nib is okay. I didn´t know that there are "good" copies from Pelikan. And a converter or a cartridge are both fine for that pen. Hopy you have fun with your pen, enjoy it!
