So for the past two days I have been pounding the pavement looking for a new teaching job.
So for the time being our finances are seriously constrained. It also means that for the time being my letters will be typed on my typewriter so that the postage costs a little less.

    Wish me luck.

Beat of luck. Something better is waiting for you.

Sorry to hear this, and what a terrible way to find out.

You deserve better than to be working for such a gutless wimp. Good luck with your search, and I really hope that you will soon look back and be glad that you had to go out and find a better job for you.

So very sorry. All the best in your search.

Hmmmph. Ungrateful wretches. Nathan I know that you are about to make some lucky new employer's world a better place as soon as you walk through his door.

Best of luck on new ventures, though it's pretty obvious that you're probably going to want to put 'new' purchases on the back-burner for a little while.

With any luck you'll find something so you can least hang on to what you have right now.

I've been laid-off, fired and had my position eliminated, which is the same as being fired several times during my working years. I found these experiences character building. My last termination came about twenty-five years ago and when that occurred, I started my own financial plaiing firm and have not looked back. Fact is, I'm no box of candy to manage and I made a terrible employee. I'm much better at being the boss.

Nathan, I do not know what it is like to be fired, but I do know what it is like to be unemployed. I also know first hand the corruption endemic in certain Asian countries and have experienced first hand the general prejudice against the farang. It may seem dark now, but there will be light for you. Just watch your back, and amuse yourself with the knowledge that the incompetence you leave behind will be the source of its own punishment. I wish you the very best of fortune for the future. Be sure to keep us posted about your next post.

The traditional methods of recruitment, such as job postings and resume screenings, are still relevant but are increasingly being supplemented or replaced by digital technologies and data-driven approaches. Social media platforms, online job portals, and professional networking sites have revolutionized the way companies connect with potential candidates. Additionally, the rise of artificial intelligence and machine learning has enabled recruiters to sift through vast amounts of data to identify suitable candidates more efficiently. chief financial officer
