Ink Review: Diamine Music Collection: Tchaikovsky
Today I'm reviewing one of my favourite blue inks. It's Diamine Tchaikovsky ink from the Music series.
- Bearing in mind the paper I use is very smooth, and the nib was a wet stub, it dried after 22secs.
- It exhibits a lovely red sheen depending on the pen used. You can see it on the top half of the review form with the Bexley stub nib.
- It flows very well and lubricates the nib very well. No start-up problems noticed. No stopping or skipping.
- Water test on the review form shows this isn't a waterproof ink, but it's water resistant.
- It washed off my hands with ordinary bar soap.
- It easily flushed out of my pens with warm water.
- It is currently available in the gift set in 30ml glass bottles that are stable and user friendly.
- It's also now available in 30ml plastic bottles as refills.
- Diamine sell it directly to end-users on their web-site.
