I'd love to hear your opinion of the writingdesk's brand when you've tried them. Photo of writing example will be much appreciated..

It appears someone works in a laboratory. The EDTA and sodium citrate tubes are a give-away! I use those daily. Never crossed my mind to use them for ink. Hmmmm where are those extra tubes at....?

Just tried out DeAtrementis Document Ink, Dark Blue in my new Faber-Castell Basic (B). Great ink, incredible pen worth far more than $45.

Well gosh, are your ink samples in danger of clotting?!

At the LA Pen Show I picked up a bottle of Stipula Musk Green, and my spouse a bottle of Sailor Jentle Nioi-Sumire.

IIRC Martin from The Writing Desk has previously confirmed that these inks are exactly the same colour and formulation as the Diamine inks of the same/equivalent names. But being 100ml bottles they offer good VFM.

This thread has kind of died but I will try to get it going again. Today I got Noodlers Bullet Proof Black and Noodlers Zivago. I love the dark black-green of the Zivago. Very nice! The black is utilitarian for me.

Just got Diamine Autumn Oak, Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuyu-Kusa, and Diamine Blue Velvet. Blue velvet sure does remind me of Private Reserve Electric DC Blue, just a tad lighter, which is a good thing.

Three new (to me): Iroshizuku Chiku-rin, Sheaffer Peacock Blue, and Sailor Kobe Kounan Maroon #27. I had to do an inventory of bottles (non-sample-vial) of ink before sharing some with a young friend, and was shocked to see that those three put the total at 50. It would have been a great place to stop, but it will have to be 51, because I'm waiting for this:

I heard that the gold sparkle doesn't come out as often in an everyday writer unless we agitate the converter very often. Would you agree?

    Great shots by the way.

Is there a way to stop at 50??... I think once you go over 20ish.. you just can't stop.
