Edelstein Amethyst ... yea it's really nice and shades and flows... ugh I have too many inks I "really" like.

I finally ordered and received the Lamy Neon Lime ink cartridges, because the bottle was sold out. I am disappointed; it doesn't seem to show up at all because it's so pale. On a happier note, I love the Neon Lime Safari. The bright color is so cheerful!
The Pelikan Turquoise looks a bit darker and bluer to me in person. That is to say, it's not a very good rendition of "turquoise", not enough green, but I don't want a true turquoise. I like this ink better!

Wow, I've bought so many different inks lately
The new J. Herbin Blue Ocean (now with gold flecks) and the MB JFK.
Not understanding the MB JFK. It's MB Navy isn't it

Sorta kinda maybe. I've never heard anybody call it "MB Navy" before, i.e. leaving off the JFK or "John F. Kennedy".

A pen pal just sent me a sample of Akkerman's "Chinatown Red", a bright, medium-saturated red toward the orange side. Eye catching in a TWSBI 1.5 nib!

Vis-a-vis Chinatown Red, if it's convenient to get the Akkerman... and the bottles are certainly cool enough to merit getting it... but if you just want the ink...

Thanks, it does look like Diamine Strawberry is a twin for Chinatown.

Just arrived, in the original Visconti glass bottles & stylish box. So much nicer than the current plastic efforts....
