Sheaffer's Skrip Permanent Blue Black #22, "with RC-35", making it a mid-'60s bottle. About $8. Good stuff. "Makes any pen write better".

Lamy turquoise cartridges arrived yesterday! I saw Mystery Ink #19 and had to give it a go. And wow... Was not disappointed! As enjoyable a color in person -- or maybe more so -- than the pictures here.

Agreed - my photos of it were terrible... Difficult ink to photograph, but very nice to use!

More samples just arrived. A few reds, Oxford blue, deAtramentis Document Dark Blue, and GvFC Deep Sea Green.

The samples came with another bullet journal for personal (vs work) use so hopefully I can actually use up these samples while getting caught up on the mountain of 'to do's

Waiting for my first two bottles to arrive from Troublemaker Inks. Bantayan Turquoise and Hanging Rice. Fingers crossed the brand name isn’t an omen!

(Interestingly you can select your preferred ink flow/wetness).

Nice website, very posh - will be interesting to know how well their products are reviewed...

    how did you discover them?

A friend who is currently living in the Philippines mentioned them to me. And the company ethos, reasonable prices & free shipping lured me in
I’ll post first impressions when they arrive....

Thank you, Migo, for this discovery.

I have just ordered Basilica Red and Kawasan Teal.

I like the fact we can choose the type of flow we want. I believe they are the only ones offering this, no?

They look interesting, don’t they. I was *very* tempted by Basilica Red! It would be great if you could post a swab/writing sample of it here, after you receive your inks :-)

I haven’t seen any other ink makers offering flow options. It’ll be interesting to see how they vary in actual usage once people start posting reviews.

I'm very interested to see reviews, too. Tailoring flow is a great concept. The colors look really appealing too.

I've stopped buying ink. I have plenty to last for a long time.

This ticked the boxes for waterproof and purple at the same time so how could I refuse?

My two Troublemaker Inks arrived safe & sound, & quick first impression is very favourable. There are a couple of improvements I could suggest to the packaging but the inks themselves are very nice. Love the colours.
I’ll post some initial thoughts on here soon...........

Looking forward to seeing @fountainpagan’s inks too as those are both different colours to mine 🙂
