For Sale or Trade: Eversharp red ripple desk pen, Flexible nib, with base
Hello everyone,
I'm selling this Eversharp desk pen because I think it could use a new owner that can care for and appreciate it more than I do.
As a lefty and as someone who doesn't write with vintage pens much anymore, and as someone who doesn't have much taste for flex nibs, this pen sits around un-used for 99.9% of it's life.
I was a lucky purchase on ebay (part of a parts lot I got for a replacement esterbrook nib) and this lovely pen was sticking around in it.
It's bee cleaned up and re-sac'ed. I was very happy to have it, and went and bought a base in the matching red ripple. Since then I have realized that I don't really have much use for desk pens, flex nibs, and I'm too paranoid to use my vintage ebonite pens very often.
I don't want to re-sell on ebay as I am rather fond of this pen and would rather have it go to someone who knows how to properly care for it. The nib could use more tuning, as it writes with a small amount of feedback for me (but I am left handed so a righty might have a totally difference experience) and the color on the base is more washed out than on the pen so there isn't a precise color match.

I'm also interested in a trade for a modern pen. I'd really like a Sailor Sapporo Mini, but I realize there's only the tiniest chance someone would want to part with one. That said, contact me if you'd like to do a trade!
