Hello everyone. I've been collecting fountain pens for a while now and have really enjoyed reading the posts here and on FPN for quite some time. Thought it was about time to officially join in the fun.

Hello and welcome from Wales
My current favorite daily writers are a Sailor Professional Gear w/ MF nib and a Pilot Custom 74 w/ Broad Cursive Italic, which was ground by John Mottisaw at Classic Fountain Pens. But the pen that has a special place in my collection is this Omas Arte Italiana I got when I was a senior in high school. Around 1999. That is what started the pen addiction for me.

Welcome!
I was born and raised in San Jose, and lived various places on the Peninsula until the dot-com bust.
I now live in the Seattle area, but San Jose will always be home.
You have great taste in pens.
Best Regards, greg
Welcome.

Hey JP!
Welcome to the Fountain Pen Geeks forums! Smaller than the largest pen fora, larger than some, you'll find a comfortable community of pen-centric people here, with a growing body of posts, reviews, and group knowledge. Mostly, you'll find people who are enthusiastic about fountain pens, and fountain pen people. BTW: you are totally sunk if you are in the CA Bay area - if you hook up with that Pen Posse, you'll never come back! (and that's a good thing)
Join in!
Regards,
Jon
