101.9 FM The Mix Chicago--and right now, Rihanna's "Diamonds" is playing. You can listen to it online: http://www.wtmx.com/home.php Or if you have the TuneIn radio app for iOS or Android, you can find it there. (Personally, I'd suggest listening to 101.9 FM on weekdays between, oh...6 am-10 am US Central time? That's when the Eric & Kathy Show is on and those folks are a hoot.)
Tame Impala

Second that resurrection. Currently playing/learning/listening to Mozart Violin Concerto K268, in E-Flat Major.
It is both a joy to play and to listen to.
Currently obsessed with: Parker 51s and Sheaffer Targas.

My son has turned me on to Vampire Weekend, a fact that MIGHT be dampening is own appreciation. Not really: he wants to see them at the Hollywood Bowl.

Hadn't noticed this thread before. My listening is all over the map: while my profession is classical percussion, I've done most everything 'drumming' related over the years. Anyway, for tonight, I've been listening to a wonderful new CD that one of my younger orchestral colleagues has done - the Bach Cello suites (3 of them) on double bass. Here's a nice vid he did for the launch:
"When Men differ in Opinion, both Sides ought equally to have the Advantage of being heard by the Publick;
and that when Truth and Error have fair Play, the former is always an overmatch for the latter."

I'm just enjoying another new release, Trouble Will Find Me, by The National.

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
