Pilot Custom 823 Amber or Edison Collier Persimmon Swirl

I am looking for a gift for a friend who does not have a higher quality pen. The Pilot Custom 823 Amber with a medium or (preferably) broad nib, or an Edison Collier in Persimmon Swirl with a medium nib would be perfect for her. I know it might be a long shot, but if anyone is willing to part with the Pilot for $175 USD or the Edison for $140, that would be wonderful; the pen does not have to be in absolutely perfect condition as long as it writes very, very smoothly and relatively wet, if possible (7/10).
