Hmmm... this might be the first time such a comprehensive collection has ever been offered on the internet.

Sheaffer mid-1930s Balances.

Kudos if you see what makes them interesting, what unifies them. The Facebook Group (in my sig below) and to a degree FPB have been chatting on these. Now I'll try it here. Some good stuff.

Pen second from the right is a "Krantz" Balance. After Rick introduced us to it, he actually declined to let me buy it... something about "this would be a nice Balance with which to start a collection". Go figure. But, I found one within a couple weeks, which is just a bit weird.
