I just sent off a little bit of sunshine to the first three MI5 participants: ilangai, alc3261 and migo984.

That's exactly the colour of the sunset here last night. Can't wait for MI5 to arrive.

By the way, I should mention: that's not the original bottle of MI5. Like any good spy agency, secrets are my stock in trade.

Alright, friends. To update, Chrissy's is now in the mail as well. The U.S. ones will go next.

Anyway, so how are things? Are we okay? Maybe we can help each other be okay, or at least a bit more okay. We are sad, many of us, but MI is sort of a little island of happiness, so let's huddle together and send virtual hugs. Peace, love and understanding is the theme, after all. I know my ice/snow is slowly melting outside. I think I see the first daffodil shoots out there, too. I think daffodils are sort of a good image for MI5, actually.

So how is everyone else? Anyone have any thoughts on anything? MI? Anything you'd like to see in a later MI? I'm almost sure I heard Crazyorange say she'd love a future MI of black ink, right? My memory can be a little faulty ....

    DAFFODIL SHOOTS? Yayyyyy!

Mine are still buried in a mere foot of snow, though the rain melted some off.

I'm loving Australia but I'm missing all my inks, which I had to leave behind. I miss my inks more than my pens; isn't that weird?!

So MI is balm to my inky sadness & I'm cheered by the prospect of getting MI5 to try out. This place (MI-land) is one of the nicest spots on the inter-web & I thank you both, Laura & klp, for your inspired idea & for making it informative, thought-provoking, challenging, equitable, supportive &, most of all, FUN.

    Tease, such a tease.

MI should become a franchise. Or a TV show. With Jeremy Clarkson. I am imagining the speedy writing ink tests.

    Laura and Chrissy as co-hosts.
