    Default Pelikan M600 Help!

I have a lot of money in Amazon gift cards and have my eye on a Pelikan M600 in blue/black.

But I'm having trouble because they vary so much in price from online retailers to Amazon.

Can someone help me with the differences between these?

    $312

    $256

    $295

And why are these $100 less than most online shops?

    I appreciate your help!

I would assume as they are the last ones available. Two say last one remaining and one says two remaining.

Not that much choice or may be discontinuing the item in future from that retailers side and just want to clear out current stock quickly.

Or, as with many items on Amazon, only a few are ever in stock. For slow selling items, Amazon will stock very low numbers, and those warnings will always show up. :-)

To add torment, $250 from Japan (though will probably be about $15-20 for shipping as 3-4 day EMS). http://global.rakuten.com/en/search/...room&tl=210252 Pen-House being one of the reputable ones (friend of mine gets her Pelikans from them and they accept paypal). On Rakuten the only other seller I dealt with was Bunkidou shop, but they don't carry pelikans.

But yea those links are the usual colors with nib choices from EF to BB.

Looks like 2 of your links are for the dealer Iguana Sell. I understand he is a reputable dealer - although if I recall he is in Spain.

it mostly has to do with what they carry in stock, or they bought in bulk.

Iguana Sell is from either Spain or Portugal and they are very reputable. Have bought from them in the past.

Actually those two really disappoint me. The dealer is Altman Luggage who is a reputable dealer but the pictures are from Iguana Sales. I've sent stubnib a PM about the ads.

I ordered a medium but it shows a F on the nib. I'm so glad because it's the thickest Fine I've ever seen!

If you are used to Japanese fines then German fines will seem really fat. And I think Pelikan's nibs run a little fat as well, even for German pens. I love my M600, yours is lovely!
