Massdrop Pelikan M800 Arrived

My Pelikan M800 arrived today and I am impressed. I ordered the all black pen with a medium nib. I inked it up with Iroshizuku Taki-Sumi and put pen to paper. It is, without a doubt, among my smoothest writing pens, if not the smoothest. It is amazing, the difference between a Pilot or Sailor medium nub and that of the Pelikan, with the Pelikan being much bolder and wetter. The M800 is a wonderful pen.

The Massdrop experience was fine although shipping seemed to take forever. I believe the pens first had to be shipped from Japan to the states and then UPS from New Jersey? to Houston. Then, add three days because UPS hands off delivery to the USPS for final delivery.
