    Kingdom Note overcame the "common" name problem by using the Linnaean-based classification system to name their Bird series of inks.

    That may be the case. However, a) Diamine probably wouldn't want to copy that and b) even with some of the Linnaean taxonomy for Aves, you still have birds that may be commonly found in the UK but are not necessarily found in the US and vice versa.
