    Why the stipulation of large size? Most modern posh pens are large, so something different might provide that frisson of enjoyment you are after. Go smaller, go vintage, say like a Pelikan 100N or original 400, and you have a far more comfortable and usable high quality pen from the past. I say that as someone who has quite a few modern as well as many vintage pens and enjoys using all of them.

    If anyone did want to invest in a pen for monetary gain, Lamy Safari and Al-Star limited editions are the way to go. Was amazed to see how much some people are asking for a Ruby Red Al-Star already

    Because less large pens were made, therefore, they are more valuable. You can check the price on a Parker Duofold Senior, and a Junior, you will see the difference.

    Just curious, how much did the pen sell for and how long did the seller had to keep it ?
