    was the video a joke, or is this how you work on the nib? I just thought you really banged the thing really hard with the hammer....how did the imprint remain?

    Woo hoo! I've got all those tools... this should be easy... :-)

    One thing he did get wrong though - VB and Fourex are not Aussie beers. Well, they are, but they certainly don't taste like beer... ;-)

    "tinnies"? Have I been saying this wrong (to myself of course, no one I know in real life talks to me about fountain pens)? I thought it was 'tines' to rhyme with 'mines'.

    You need the right tools ! The imprint was masked with tape....
